Transparency is the foundation of trust. Here's exactly how AFRIBN collects, scores, verifies and publishes every piece of intelligence.
No black boxes — each metric is computed from named, weighted factors.
Every source carries a Source Reliability Score (SRS) computed from a transparent formula: trust record, correction accuracy, authoritativeness, timeliness, recent accuracy, corroboration and independence — net of bias and conflict-of-interest penalties.
Sources are continuously re-evaluated and assigned a collection decision — whitelisted, normal, enhanced, partial, probation, suppressed or blacklisted — which governs how their content is weighted and surfaced. Every change is written to an audit log.
